The Students' Union Government, SUG, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Thursday, paid an official visit to the Vice-Chancellor elect Prof. Joe Ahaneku.
During the visit, Prof. Ahaneku pledged that he will make everything possible to create a conducive environment that will aid students of this great institution to always be first among equals.
Prof. Ahaneku also promised that everything good will be seen in the university within the next five years and that he is ever ready to support the students and ensure that they always receive quality learning that will build discipline, self reliance and excellence in their lives and that of their various communities in general.
Prof. Ahaneku while expressing his joy over the visit, further expressed his administration's commitment to partner with the students' union and assist them with every possible means to enhance smooth operation of their activities.
The Vice-Chancellor elect however advised the students to avoid all negative acts that may spoil their future and the image of the university.
In his remarks, the number one student of the university and the President of the institution's SUG Comrade Ibe Cico Michael on behalf of the students, pledged to be law abiding and further expressed the commitment of the union under his leadership to continue the implementation of policies that will better the students wellbeing.
Present at the event include the SUG President Comrade Ibe Cico Michael, Vice-President Comrade Agulefo Queen and other SUG officials.
