The Acting Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umobi, received a delegation from Orumba North Local Government Area, led by the Mayor, Captain Barr. Casmir Nwafor (RTD), on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
In his speech, Captain Barr Nwafor (RTD) expressed gratitude to Prof. Arinze-Umobi for her kindness and commended her for her outstanding achievements in academia and her motherly role in society. The delegation's solidarity visit aimed to strengthen and encourage one of their own, Prof. Arinze-Umobi, to continue making a positive impact on humanity.
Responding, Prof. Arinze-Umobi expressed heartfelt appreciation for the visit, commending the delegation for their gesture. She assured them of continued collaboration and cooperation to drive development and progress in Orumba North Local Government Area.
